Plant Breeders have come up with a new evolution to the very popular Taffy Penstemons. The ‘Cha Cha’ series have been bred for compactness and extreme hardiness whilst retaining the long flowering period of the Taffy Penstemons and their incredible durability. This series brings a new colour range and denser more compact habit. Penstemon ‘Cha Cha Pink’ is very showy with numerous spikes of rose pink blooms over many months of repeat flowering flushes. The plant habit is very bushy and compact, with healthy blue green foliage. Flowers have numerous small trumpets with a striking ‘bee track’ pattern in the bell shaped flowers. Plant mid border in clumps for a romantic cottage effect!
Dead heading of spent flower spikes will cause additional laterals to form. Prefer average well drained soil, do not mulch over crowns. Drought and humidity tolerant.
