Sunseeker Echinaceas are prolific flowerers starting from Summer and continuing well into Autumn. Sunseeker 'Magenta' has large, double, intense magenta mauve blooms which are borne on sturdy, dark stems. Flowering is in profusion and the form of this plant is compact and even.

These Echinaceas are very suitable for the picking garden due to their long sturdy stems.

Echinaceas are usually dormant in the winter, you can tidy up dead flower heads late Autumn and it's a good idea to mark where they are so you can recognise new shoots when they emerge in early spring.

These plants are hybrids with little or no pest and disease problems but from experience it is prudent to place slug and snail bait around the emerging shoots in the spring. A sun loving prairie plant, you may still need to give the occasional deep soaking if summer weather is excessively dry.
