The trailing ice plant or Lampranthus is an exceptionally heat and dry tolerant ground cover perennialwhich is also suitable for coastal gardens.
Lampranthus 'Coral Explosion' has dainty coral young flowers which mature to a vibrant peachy pink. The key feature of the 'Explosion' series is their extra dense flower coverage, forming a mat of eye-watering colour. The effect of the plant is to form a living mulch suppressing weeds, and ideal for those difficult garden spots that are simply too hostile for many plants.
