These cute dwarf Alstroemeria form a low growing mass of flowers in the spring with flushes for up to 8 months of the year in the right conditions.
Inca Alstroemeria Magic is an eye catching contrast of white and mauve, similar to Flamingo but more towards the blue-mauve rather than pink coloration
Alstroemerias enjoy sun to part shade and do well in rich friable soils with adequate moisture but not waterlogged soils. They will adapt to drought conditions by retreating underground where their tubers are capable of keeping the plant alive until more favourable weather conditions return. Flowering can be encouraged by tugging spent stems and by feeding with slow release fertiliser and mulching to retain moisture.
