Brunnera prefer a shade to part shade position and produce striking, large heart shaped leaves in spring. 'Alchemy Pewter' has reflective metallic leaves accented with deep green veining. A spectacular shade feature foliage plant, with a bonus of blue 'forget-me-not' flowers in spring. These perennials are winter dormant so do not fear if the disappear over winter, they'll be back in the spring! Brunnera like to dry out between waterings. Avoid intense sunlight especially in the hotter summer months
