The Salvia ‘Wish Series’ are a new and high-performing series of salvias in a unique palette of colours to fill the garden with colour month after month. In fact in the north these salvias don’t stop flowering, a ‘year round’ colour source filling the mid border with bright coral flowers with pink tones. Salvia ‘Ember’s Wish’ was named after two teenage children Emma and Brett who were tragically lost to a rare genetic condition. The Series also including ‘Wendy’s Wish’ and ‘Love and Wishes’ work beautifully together in the flower border, being easy to grow and drought tolerant as well as prolific and long-flowering. Vigorous and very hardy.
Salvia ‘Ember’s Wish’ grows well in most soil types but thrives in fertile, well drained soils. Trim off around one third of size after flowering to maintain
shape and encourage a dense, bushy habit. An application of slow release fertiliser in spring will be beneficial.
