Veronicas also known as speedwell are an enchanting perennial forming clumps of upright spikes. This tendency adds lovely vertical elements to a flower garden, combining beautifully with other perennials to give a vista that's soft and restful to the eye. Veronicas love a sunny position with moist and well drained soil but apart from an occasional feed of slow release fertiliser they are easy to grow and relatively low maintenance
