An Alstroemeria to make you smile! This delightful compact variety will produce masses of large bright white flowers with distinctive vibrant yellow marked accents. This Alstroemeria would suit mass planting for a ‘white flower’ effect that will last for 8- 9 months of the year. Inca Alstroemerias are valued as a ready source of cut flowers for beautifying your home indoors in addition to flowering for up to 10 months of the year in milder climates.
Incas are bred for compact habit and are non-invasive unlike older Alstroemerias. Suitable for pots or in the garden they like humus-rich soil, and should be kept moist through summer months in their first season. Alstroemerias are drought tolerant once established.
Remove old spent stems and excess ‘blind stems’ and feed with slow release fertiliser for repeat flowering. Mulch is beneficial where Incas are in garden beds.
