For those used to Geums of old with the occasional smallish flower held on a spindly stem, think again! Geum ‘Fire Storm’ as the name suggests will burst into vibrant orange flower in spring. The flowers are numerous, erupting through compact green foliage around late August to early September, a more compact version of our recent release, Geum ‘Fireball’ and if possible, with even more flower volume! The massive semi-double flowers edged in red are a spectacular sight as they emerge from the strong healthy foliage.
Geum ‘Fire Storm’ will grow in conditions anywhere from full sun to part shade Quick to establish. Keep moist and feed occasionally with slow release fertiliser.
