Plectranthus
An attractive woody perennial which fills a space in a mixed perennial border in the semi shade with opulent lavender flowers on a compact deep green plant. Typically these perennials grow to around 70cm tall, flowering predominantly in summer.

Plectranthus belong to the Lamiaceae family as do Salvias, rapidly establishing in humus rich moist soil to be an excellent filler in the mid border section. Colours normally pink to mauve hues.
