Heucherellas are a breeding cross between a Heuchera and a Tiarella. They are as expected with this cross, woodland plants, thriving in dappled to part shade.
This cross gives them the hardiness and vigourous spreading growth of tiarellas with the vast array of colours and leaf shapes of the Heuchera.
Foliage tends to be strongly veined and with sculptural, distinctive leaves which change and evolve in rich colour through the seasons.
Heucherellas have good heat and humidity tolerance, and like rich well drained soils, but are primarily very easy care plants.
