Sedums are succulents, and as such are a very useful plant to cope with those hotter and drier areas of the garden. Sedum ‘Birthday Party’ is a new release Sedum with extra large, deep rose pink flowers in late summer to autumn. Compact and low foliage is blue green edged with purple, forming a showy display even before the flowering season. Excellent for borders for late Summer mass colour. Companion plant with other Living Fashion Sedums for a lovely display in your sunny, dry garden areas. Sedums do require water when young, so ensure plants are watered well especially when getting established.
Grow Sedum ‘Birthday Party’ in full sun in a well-drained site, for instance a sunny bank. Avoid over-watering or water logged soils. Water to establish, allow to dry out between waterings. Low nutrition needs, prefers a ‘lean’ soil. Winter dormant. Avoid spraying with chemicals
