Lavenders are one of the world’s most loved perennials and the versatile lavender ‘Ghostly Princess’ adds the extra magic of its stylish silver foliage. It’s a truly modern take on an old favourite and the foliage is stunning for a hedge or mass planting effect.
Lavender ‘Ghostly Princess’ is one of a series bred in Australia to perform with exceptional and prolonged flowering on a hardy and compact habit. Dusky pink flowers blanket the plant in late winter through spring, while the charm extends year round with the superb silver foliage. For those constrained by space this ‘two in one’ attraction makes this a great urban lavender and being exceptionally easy it is great as a low maintenance plant. Hugely spectacular in the border and would make a very eye-catching lavender hedge.
Lavenders prefer a sunny well-drained situation and are both cold and dry tolerant plants. These are amongst the easiest of garden plants to grow. Prune to two-thirds of height and apply a slow release fertiliser and dolomite lime in late summer to maintain good vigour and performance.
