Dianthus ‘Dancing Queen’ is a striking dianthus bred by renowned UK specialists Whetman Pinks. ‘Dancing Queen’ produces masses of delicate pink double blooms with deeper pink central flower accents borne on long sturdy stems. This Dianthus is ideal for picking and is highly fragrant, flowering over a prolonged period in Spring and Autumn. Dianthus are sun lovers, at home in a flower border or pot, and quite dry tolerant with the occasional deep watering in summer.
Magnifi-Scent dianthus are easy to grow, preferring average soil moisture and fertility. Removal of old flower heads will stimulate further flower flushes. Feed with slow release fertilizer in early spring for best performance. Quick to establish, very easy care. Evergreen.
